The upcoming Digital Census will incorporate self-enumeration portals and digital geospatial mapping conducted under the Census Act, 1948 by the Registrar General and Census Commissioner of India (Ministry of Home Affairs).
- Census in India is conducted under Union List Entry 69 (7th Schedule, Constitution of India).
