Synonyms, one-word, idioms, para jbles, RC approach.
- One-word: a person who hates women — misogynist; government by the wealthy — plutocracy; a speech to oneself — soliloquy; one who is all-powerful — omnipotent.
- Idioms: beat about the bush (avoid the point), burn the midnight oil (work late), hit the nail on the head, once in a blue moon, a blessing in disguise, to make both ends meet.
- Phrasal verbs: call off (cancel), carry out (execute), look after, look into, put up with, turn down, give in, break down.
- Para jumbles: find the opener (no pronoun/connector), then logic pairs (cause–effect, name–description), then closer (therefore/thus).
- RC: read the question stem first for inference vs fact vs vocab-in-context; do not import outside knowledge.
